The International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections – Canada (IUSTI-Canada) is a member-based voluntary body and a branch of the IUSTI-North America and IUSTI-World bodies.
The objectives of IUSTI Canada are:
To advance public health in so far as it is affected by sexually transmitted infections (STIs);
To promote and encourage the study of the public health aspects of STIs, including viral, parasitic, bacterial and fungal, infection, and other sexual health problems.
To promote, encourage and improve the study and practice of the art and science of diagnosing, treating and preventing sexually transmitted infections, including viral, parasitic, bacterial and fungal, infection, and other sexual health problems.
